Major wildfire erupts in ‘Cheshme’ forest region of Turkey [Video]
Turkish media report widespread wildfire in the ‘Çeşme’ forest area of the Aegean Sea region.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the RIA Novosti news agency released images on wednesday showing a massive wildfire in the recreational forest area of Çeşme.
Turkish television reported that a large-scale fire has broken out in the forests of Çeşme, a popular tourist destination along Turkey’s Aegean coast.
RIA Novosti states that the flames have spread to residential areas, forcing evacuations from three nearby villages so far.
