According to webangah News agency, citing Al Jazeera, sources reported intense airstrikes by Israeli regime warplanes and heavy artillery shelling in northwestern Khan Younis.
The sources described severe bombardment by occupying forces on Khan Younis in recent minutes.
Separately, some sources told Al Jazeera that Israeli warplanes heavily bombed an area where a security incident had occurred.
This comes as reports emerged of a major security incident in the Hamad area northeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israeli regime media stated that helicopters landed in the area following the security incident in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Some Zionist sources called for prayers for Israeli military personnel after this security incident.
