Netanyahu’s Wife Meddles in Politics; ‘Prime Minister’s Office Is a Hornet’s Nest
A former employee of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has revealed it became a “toxic workplace” due to constant meddling by the PM’s wife Sara Netanyahu in official affairs, according to webangah News Agency.
The whistleblower stated Sara frequently clashed with Netanyahu’s advisors, with most disputes ending in resignations or dismissals. “The office has turned into a hornet’s nest,” they added.
Tzahi Braverman, Netanyahu’s chief of staff, reportedly serves as the most powerful figure in the office with the unofficial role of containing fires started by Sara Netanyahu.
Multiple resignations have occurred since November 2022.In March 2024, office director Yair Casparius was fired following severe disagreements with Sara.Another official,Yossi Sheli,was reportedly sidelined for allegedly failing to fully comply with her demands.
