German Chancellor: Current Situation in Gaza Strip Is Unacceptable
In an interview, the German Chancellor described the current situation in Gaza as unacceptable without mentioning a word condemning the genocide perpetrated by jerusalem’s occupiers against the oppressed Palestinian people.
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Middle east Monitor, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz criticized Israel’s plan to relocate Palestinians to a camp built on the ruins of Rafah in southern Gaza.
In an interview with ARD television, Merz did not utter any condemnation of what he referred to as genocide by Jerusalem’s occupiers against Palestinians. He only stated that the current situation in gaza is unacceptable.
Merz added: “I have not supported what Israel has been doing for weeks in Gaza. I have expressed this.”
He reiterated his call for increased humanitarian aid and a diplomatic resolution to de-escalate tensions caused by Jerusalem’s occupiers.
