Explosion Heard Near Erbil Airport, Iraq
Al Mayadeen network reports hearing an explosion near Erbil International Airport in Iraq.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported hearing the sound of an explosion near Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Several days earlier, local sources in the Kurdistan Region had reported a drone attack targeting Erbil International Airport.
Following this, the Kurdistan Region’s Counter-Terrorism Service announced that a drone was shot down near Erbil International Airport without causing any casualties or damage.
Additionally, some Iraqi sources stated that a suicide drone had struck Kirkuk International Airport.
