Germany: Deploying Patriot Missiles in Ukraine Will Take Months

according to the english section of⁣ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Germany’s Defense Minister said ⁣a decision on sending Patriot systems to ​Ukraine will be made within days or weeks, but delivery will take⁤ several months.

Boris Pistorius added that discussions are underway to purchase Patriots from⁤ the United States for transfer to Ukraine.

He ⁣also stressed that the deployment ⁢of long-range missiles in Germany is being reviewed, expressing optimism about progress on this issue.

The German minister previously told⁢ the Financial Times that only six Patriot missiles ⁣remain in the country.

He confirmed that Berlin will not supply Ukraine ⁢with long-range Taurus missiles.
