Two Missiles Fired from Gaza Strip into Israeli Territory
The English section of webangah News Agency cited Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, reporting that an Israeli military spokesperson confirmed detecting two rockets launched from central Gaza toward Israeli settlements near the strip.
Hebrew sources stated that one of thes rockets hit the settlement of Beeri.
The rocket fire follows an announcement by the Israeli army that three soldiers from Battalion 52 of Armored Brigade 401 were killed during battles in northern Gaza, while an officer was seriously wounded.
Hebrew media further reported that these four soldiers were killed or injured after resistance fighters attacked an Israeli army tank with anti-tank missiles in northern Gaza.
The incident reportedly occurred at noon local time on Monday in Jabalia, northern Gaza. Three israeli soldiers died inside their tank during this attack.
