Russian Helicopter Crash Leaves No Survivors
The Russian Emergency Services Ministry announced that the helicopter crash in the Russian Far East left no survivors.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, reported that all passengers died following a Mil-8 helicopter crash in Russia’s Khabarovsk region in the Far East.
According to the Russian Aviation authority, rescue teams and investigators are analyzing and assessing the wreckage at the crash site while searching for the helicopter’s black box.
Preliminary facts indicates five bodies were found at the scene. The helicopter lost radar contact on july 14 while traveling from Okhotsk to Magadan and crashed near Cape Gadikan, about 130 kilometers northeast of Okhotsk. the victims included three crew members and two maintenance engineers.
