NATO Begins Preparing to Deliver Patriot Systems to Ukraine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing mehr News Agency adn Anadolu Agency,general Alexus Grinkevich,commander of NATO Allied Forces in Europe,told reporters that preparations for delivering Patriot air defense systems from Germany to Ukraine are being expedited.
He stressed close coordination with Germany and added: “The air defense systems must be delivered as soon as possible.” He emphasized that even if a peaceful resolution occurs regarding Ukraine, Russia will remain a “threat.”
recently, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the first shipment of Patriot systems under an agreement supported by NATO-with full cost reimbursement guaranteed to Washington-is currently en route from Germany to Ukraine.
Trump stated: “Thes systems are on their way to Ukraine. They come from Germany, and then Germany will replace them.In any case, the United States will receive full payment. The cost is either covered by NATO or directly by European Union member states.”
