According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qasim delivered a speech at the memorial for Martyr haj Ali Karkhi (Haj Abul-Fadl), a deceased commander of Hezbollah.
Sheikh Naim Qasim stated: “The great jihadi leader Haj Ali Karkhi was one of those sincere figures who stood firmly by his convictions and chose the path of pure Muhammadan Islam.”
He added, “Martyr Haj Abul-Fadl carries great debt upon us as he served as one of the deputies on Hezbollah’s Jihadi Council. He is a prominent figure whom the people must know. Martyr Abul-Fadl was born in May 1962. From a young age, he was devoted, passionate about the Prophet’s family, held an academic degree, and belonged to the first generation that founded Lebanon’s Islamic movement.”
Sheikh Naim Qasim emphasized: “The jihadi leader Martyr Ali Karkhi planned the ‘Ahmed Qusair’ martyrdom operation alongside fellow martyr commander Haj Imad Mughniyeh. He also played a key role in organizing numerous jihadi operations until southern Lebanon was liberated in 2000.”
