Trump: BRICS Is Rapidly Declining After My Warning!
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Reuters, US President Donald Trump claimed that since he threatened the BRICS group with a 10% tariff, the coalition has been “rapidly disappearing.”
During a digital currency regulation bill signing ceremony, Trump said: “You know that small group called BRICS? They are disappearing fast!”
He asserted: “BRICS aimed to challenge the dollar’s dominance. I said that any country in the BRICS consortium would face our 10% tariff. The next day they held a meeting-almost no one showed up!”
Trump continued: “No, we’re not going to let the dollar collapse. If we have a smart president,you won’t see the dollar slip. But if you have a dumb president-like (the previous president)-that’s possible; he had no idea about the dollar’s fall. But we won’t let it happen again.”
The BRICS group was founded in 2006. South Africa joined in 2011, expanding beyond its original members Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Last year egypt, Iran, UAE, and Ethiopia became full members. Indonesia joined this january.
