Call for Arrest of Israeli Military Officer in Cyprus
The English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an,reports that the Hind Rajab Institute,active in supporting Palestinian rights,filed a complaint against an Israeli soldier in Cyprus alleging war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip.
The institute emphasized that the Israeli soldier arrived in Cyprus on April 12 and that Cypriot authorities must detain him under international law and domestic regulations.
Earlier, Hebrew-language media reported that pro-Palestinian activists attacked a group of Israelis outside a nightclub on one of the Greek islands.
This attack reflects growing global resentment toward Israelis due to alleged war crimes committed in Gaza.
One of the Israelis reportedly tried to speak Dutch to escape the assault. The group stated they feel unsafe and cannot walk freely on the streets.
