U.S. President Donald Trump and Jordan’s king Abdullah II discussed regional developments, particularly in Gaza and Syria, during a phone call.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Jordan’s official news agency Petra reported on a phone conversation between King Abdullah II and President Donald Trump addressing regional developments, with a focus on gaza and Syria.
The agency stated that during the call, King Abdullah stressed the urgent need to stop the war against the Gaza Strip and ensure humanitarian aid reaches the enclave.
The Jordanian monarch also emphasized reducing tensions in Syria.
Noting the importance of easing regional conflicts, he affirmed that Jordan remains committed alongside influential countries to achieve peace that guarantees security and stability throughout the region.
