German Chancellor Calls for Safe Aid Delivery to Gaza

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Details Center, Germany’s government stated that Chancellor Friedrich Merz urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the war in Gaza immediately during their telephone conversation.
Merz expressed deep concern over the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza and stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire.He called on Israel to allow urgent and secure delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in the region.The German government also emphasized protecting civilians and alleviating their suffering, demanding facilitation of conditions for sending humanitarian assistance.
