Yemen Army Announces Escalation of Attacks Supporting Gaza and Besieging Israel
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Yemen’s Al-masirah network via Mehr News Agency, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, read a statement declaring: In light of rapid developments in the occupied palestinian territories-especially in Gaza-and ongoing organized genocide resulting in thousands of civilian deaths amid prolonged aggression and blockade, coupled with shameful Arab, Islamic, and global silence, Yemen views itself as bearing religious, moral, and humanitarian obligation toward innocent victims. These civilians face daily bombardment from air, land, and sea assaults alongside starvation and thirst caused by severe siege conditions. Such horrors are intolerable for any free human being-let alone Arabs and Muslims.
The Yemeni armed forces emphasized their decision-with full reliance on God-to escalate military operations supporting Gaza by launching the fourth phase of a naval siege against enemy targets.
This phase involves targeting all vessels belonging to any company cooperating with Israeli ports regardless of their nationality or location within reach of Yemen’s military forces.
The statement warned all companies against continuing cooperation with Israeli ports from the moment this message is issued. Otherwise, their ships will be targeted indiscriminately anywhere within range of Yemeni missiles and drones regardless of destination.
The statement called on all countries to pressure Israel into ending its aggression and lifting Gaza’s blockade if they wish to prevent this intensified attack phase. It stressed that no free person worldwide can endure what is currently unfolding.
It concluded by affirming that Yemen’s actions reflect an ethical and humanitarian commitment toward the oppressed Palestinian people.All military operations will cease instantly once Israel halts attacks on Gaza and lifts its blockade.
