Date Set for First Parliamentary Elections After Assad Regime Overthrow

The Supreme Election Committee of Syria has announced the frist parliamentary elections under the ​rule⁤ of the terrorist ⁤regime led by Jolani,scheduled for september.

according to the ⁤English section of webangah News Agency,citing‌ Sana ⁢and Mehr news Agency,Muhammad Taha Al-Ahmad,head of Syria’s Supreme Parliamentary Election Committee,stated that the country’s first⁤ parliamentary elections following the ⁤overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s regime‍ and ⁣under Jolani’s terrorist governance are expected⁤ to take place between September 15 and ‌20.

Al-Ahmad added that several reforms in Syria’s parliamentary ‌election system ⁢have been communicated​ to‌ Jolani, leader of the terrorist faction now controlling the⁤ country.

He‍ also announced an increase‌ in parliamentary seats from 150⁤ to 210. The allocation among provinces will‌ be ‍adjusted ​based ‍on data from the 2011 census. Candidates ⁣will have one week to‍ submit their electoral programs before debates ​commence.

The participation rate of women on electoral commissions is ‍reported to be only 20 percent.
