South Korean Court Takes Action Against Ousted President

South Korean ⁢court takes action amid former president’s continued ⁢refusal to attend interrogation sessions.

According to ​teh English section of⁤ webangah news ⁤Agency, citing ​mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has once again refused⁢ to attend interrogation sessions.

authorities have⁤ dispatched prosecutors to‌ Yoon’s detention facility near Seoul in an attempt to​ escort him to the interrogation venue.Though, Yoon has declined to⁢ comply with these efforts.

The South Korean court has ordered that force be used if necessary to bring​ the former president before the⁢ attorney general.

Earlier this year in April, South Korea’s Constitutional Court removed Yoon Suk-yeol from office due to his declaration of ‌a state of emergency, which⁣ was deemed unconstitutional.

The state of emergency ‌declared by Yoon last⁢ December 3rd violated South korea’s constitution and served as the basis for his dismissal.
