Israeli Defense Minister Attacks Al-Aqsa Mosque
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, Cairo News Network reported that Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Katz, desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He entered the mosque under heavy security measures while severe restrictions were imposed on Palestinian worshippers.
This morning,Itamar Ben-Gvir,Israel’s Minister of Internal Security,along with several Israeli settlers,stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of the destruction of the alleged Jewish Temple.
The Israeli settlers also carried out provocative acts during their presence.
In recent months, settler groups have conducted provocative tours around Al-Aqsa’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals at this sacred site.
Ben-Gvir had previously raided Al-Aqsa on Jerusalem’s occupation anniversary, drawing widespread condemnation from Muslims and religious leaders alike.
He has openly revealed sinister plans for Al-Aqsa, including intentions to build a synagogue within its compound.
The imam and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier warned that desecration of the mosque is no longer hidden.These actions grant settlers a platform to continue their hostile approach and violate the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Notably, Israel aims to fully control and ultimately demolish Al-Aqsa because it claims that below it lies their alleged “Temple.” They seek to rebuild this temple in place of the mosque.
The plan to destroy Al-Aqsa and erect a Jewish temple stems from extremist Zionist beliefs and has long been pursued by radical groups.
