Tensions in Tel Aviv Reach Peak; Closed-Door Warning Issued
Israel Defense Forces radio acknowledged escalating tension between the Chief of Staff and Tel Aviv political officials.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, the Israel Defense Forces radio admitted that tensions between Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and political authorities in Tel Aviv have reached their highest level.
The report states that zamir has demanded clarity from Tel Aviv’s political officials regarding the military strategy in Gaza. He emphasized that the regime’s war cabinet has not convened for a long time, leaving no clear vision about the next phase in Gaza.
Zamir has warned behind closed doors that a prolonged presence in Gaza endangers Israeli soldiers’ lives.
