Hashd al-Shaabi Deploys Forces to Secure Arbaeen Procession
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maloomah, Sadiq Al-Husseini, a commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Diyala, confirmed that the second phase of the special security operation for the Arbaeen walk has officially begun.
He added that this phase covers seven key areas with meaningful security and logistical importance.
The report states that security belts have been established to protect pilgrims’ rest stations (Mawakib). PMF personnel are deployed at sensitive points along land routes,particularly between Mundhiriyah and Baqubah.
Al-Husseini emphasized that in the coming days tens of thousands of pilgrims will be moving toward thes areas, and PMF forces must be fully prepared to ensure their safety.
