Israeli Forces Attack Southern Syria, Destroy Civilian Homes
Reports indicate Israeli military forces attacked southern Syrian regions and opened fire on civilians in the country.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al-Mayadeen, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Israeli forces invaded southern Syria, conducting house searches and demolishing properties belonging to syrian residents.
These Israeli occupiers also established checkpoints among villages in southern Syria and fired upon civilians.
The report states that Israeli troops attacked the village of al-Qahtaniyah near Quneitra in southern Syria.Citing proximity to Israeli bases as a pretext, they destroyed homes there.
Since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, southern Syria has experienced increased ground incursions by Israel and occupation of parts of this region.
