US Pushes to Remove “Julani” from UN Security Council Sanctions

The United‌ States continues its support​ for ​the terrorist rulers of Syria by seeking ⁣to remove their names from the united Nations Security Council sanctions list.

According to the​ English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Russia⁣ Al-Youm, informed sources reported that the US is pursuing the lifting of sanctions imposed by the Security ‌Council ‍on Joulani, the leader of Syria’s‍ ruling⁢ terrorist faction, and members under his command.

Al-Monitor reported that the US has proposed a draft resolution to Britain and France requesting the removal of Joulani’s name and that of his Interior minister,Anas Al-Abdah,from UN sanction lists. These sanctions are part of counter-terrorism ⁢measures targeting al-Qaeda and ISIS networks.

US President Donald Trump had⁢ previously announced plans to lift American sanctions against Joulani as a means to support his terrorist regime.

sources revealed ⁣that⁤ in its initial draft, Washington included sanctions against Tahrir al-Sham. Though,anticipating opposition from countries like China,it now aims to pursue this ⁢matter through the UN⁢ sanctions⁤ commitee operating in secrecy.
