Trump Announces Time and Place for Meeting with Putin
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social that he will meet with Vladimir Putin on August 15 in Alaska.
Earlier, at a White House ceremony marking a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, he said he might announce the time and place of his meeting with Putin either in the coming days or even later that same day.

Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency reported, quoting one of putin’s assistants, that since Russia and the United States are close neighbors, it is logical for thier meeting to take place in Alaska.
The foreign advisor added that Putin and Trump intend to concentrate on ways to achieve a long-term settlement of the Ukraine crisis during their Alaska talks.
