No Comment”: Italian Magazine’s Bitter Cartoon Reacts to Gaza’s Starving Population + Photo
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that the italian publication L’antidiplomatico reacted to the situation of Palestinians in Gaza by publishing a harsh cartoon highlighting how the Zionist regime is using food as a weapon.
The magazine captioned its cartoon: “There is no image more expressive then this.”
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced yesterday that deaths from starvation have risen to 217, including 100 children. Meanwhile, Gaza’s health system has nearly collapsed amid severe shortages of food and medicine. Authorities have issued warnings about escalating famine and disease outbreaks.
According to the ministry, hospitals in Gaza recorded five deaths due to starvation over the past 24 hours, including two children.
Mounir Al-Barash, Director-General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, stated that “the occupiers have resorted to engineered famine as part of their interaction with Gaza.” he added that recent aid deliveries cover less than 5 percent of what is needed in Gaza.
