Nationwide Power Outage Hits Iraq

Iraqi officials have announced extensive power outages affecting nearly all regions of the country, according to reports cited by webangah News Agency from Mehr News Agency and Alsumaria.
The Ministry of Electricity confirmed that it will take a minimum of three hours to restore electricity nationwide.
This advancement follows a statement from Mohammed Nouri, head of the Electricity and Energy Committee in the Iraqi Parliament.In an official social media post, he revealed that Iraq’s power system has fully shut down due to faults in transmission lines.
