Peskov: No Agreement Expected at Putin-Trump Summit End

The spokesperson for​ the Russian Presidential Office ⁢announced that no agreement is expected to be signed at the end of the Putin-Trump meeting in Alaska.

Dmitry‍ Peskov,spokesperson⁤ for the Kremlin,said⁤ on Thursday that issues related to⁣ resolving the Ukraine crisis will be ⁣discussed during the Russia-U.S. meeting in Alaska, according to webangah News Agency.

Peskov added that it is not expected any document will be⁣ signed at‌ the conclusion of President Putin adn President Trump’s talks in Alaska. Preparations for their meeting ⁣were completed‍ quickly, with ​all parameters observed.⁣ Vitkoff’s visit⁣ to Russia was constructive and ‍sent signals that allowed both sides⁣ to prepare for this high-level encounter.

He stressed that predicting the​ outcome of the Russia-U.S. talks in Alaska would be premature.”It ​is too early to say now,” he noted. Following the meeting, Putin and Trump are expected to outline a range of agreements and understandings‌ they might achieve.Both leaders have expressed willingness and readiness⁣ to engage ​in dialog over ⁣complex issues.

peskov also remarked that Russia likely will never receive an appropriate response from European countries.
