Putin Breaks Protocol in Meeting with Trump + Video
An American newspaper highlighted Vladimir Putin’s break from tradition during his meeting with Donald Trump in Alaska.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia today, The Wall Street journal reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin broke with protocol during his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska by riding in Trump’s car instead of using his usual official vehicle.
The report states that Trump proposed they travel together to the negotiation venue in his armored Cadillac One limousine.
Until now, Putin has always traveled internationally in specially equipped official cars.Everything was prepared for him to arrive as usual in the Aurus presidential limousine-a model he has used since 2018.
The closed-door meeting between Trump and Putin lasted two hours and 45 minutes.
