Head of North Gaza Waqf Killed in Israeli Regime Attacks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Palestinian Safa News Agency via Mehr news Agency,since dawn on Saturday,August 16,2025-the 680th day of the Israeli occupation army’s aggression-11 Palestinian civilians have been killed in continuous airstrikes by the Israeli regime across the Gaza Strip. several others were injured.
A Safa correspondent reported that a civilian was killed by fire from Israeli occupation forces near aid centers in northern Rafah, southern gaza Strip. Rizeq Al-Qarnawi, a Palestinian citizen, was martyred in an Israeli military bombing targeting a group of civilians near Abu Hilo School east of Al-Bureij Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
Additionally, Saji Ghassan Al-Naffar and his wife Yusuf Mutaasim Al-Bata were martyred when Israeli strikes hit a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Mawasi area of Al-Qarara city, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The report also confirmed that Merci Salman, director of the Northern Gaza Endowments Office, was killed during Israeli bombings on Gaza City.moreover, six members of one family-including four children-were martyred when occupation forces bombed thier home in Al-Bureij Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
