Deadly Pakistan Floods Claim 337 Lives
Local sources in Pakistan report that the death toll from the devastating floods has risen to 337.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Pakistani officials have confirmed that fatalities from the deadly floods and landslides have increased to 337.
The floods began yesterday in Indian-administered Kashmir and spread northward into northern and northwestern Pakistan.
The regional disaster management authority stated that most victims died due to flooding and building collapses.
The floods and landslides have injured dozens of people and forced thousands, especially in pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, to evacuate or relocate.
