Kuwait Bans Entry of Residents from Occupied Territories
Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior Vice Director of Electronic Services stated that Kuwait imposes no travel bans on citizens from any country, except for individuals identified as holding citizenship from the Israeli occupation regime, referring to residents of the occupied territories, according to reports cited by webangah News Agency from Mehr News Agency and qods press.
Colonel Abd al-Aziz Al-Kandari emphasized that all nationalities are accepted in Kuwait except those linked to the Israeli occupation regime. He explained this is due to Kuwait’s official stance, as declared by royal decree, considering itself in a state of war with Israel.
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia remain the only Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members without any diplomatic relations with Israel. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have established full diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties with Israel under formal agreements.
Qatar and Oman maintain only limited coordination channels without formal diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime.
