Islamic Jihad Condemns Israel’s Move to Relocate Gaza Residents South
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera Qatar via mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement denounced the Israeli army’s practice of distributing tents in southern Gaza as a means to forcibly relocate inhabitants from north to south. The statement warned that this move is part of an aggressive plan by Tel Aviv aimed at occupying Gaza City. It represents a blatant violation of international charters and a flagrant insult to organizations that claim to protect civilians and defend the rights of people living under occupation.
Islamic Jihad emphasized that forcing displacement amid ongoing hunger, killings, and homelessness constitutes a continuous crime against humanity.
The movement further noted that Israeli military actions in Gaza coincide with daily atrocities committed by the regime in the West Bank, where occupiers continue raids, arrests, and infiltration operations. Meanwhile, settler groups-directly supported by the army-shoot at Palestinians, set fire to their property, and endanger innocent civilians’ lives.
According to Islamic Jihad, these acts reflect “the organized violence of the Israeli regime” alongside “the reckless violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers,” pursuing a shared objective: expelling Palestinians from their land and depriving them of their most basic life necessities.
The movement also referred to Israel’s freezing of accounts belonging to Jerusalem’s Orthodox Church as an action aimed at reinforcing annexation policies and Judaization efforts while threatening both Islamic and Christian holy sites.
Islamic Jihad criticized the global community’s complete inability and repetitive statements regarding Zionist crimes. It stressed that worldwide silence only fuels continued aggression by Israel.
It called on free peoples around the world to loudly oppose these policies by demanding an end to aggression, condemning settler terrorism, and supporting the Palestinian people.
