Gaza Government: 1.2 Million Children in Gaza Are Victims of Israel’s Gradual Killings
The Gaza government’s media office condemned the purposeful starvation of over 100,000 children and patients suffering from severe food shortages, highlighting Israel’s ongoing blockade that blocks essential nutritional resources from entering Gaza, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera.
In its statement, the office denounced this criminal policy of “engineered death” in Gaza and held the Israeli occupation regime and its supporters fully responsible for implementing it.
The statement added that Israeli forces persist in their gradual killing strategy targeting more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip, approximately 1.2 million of whom are children.
It identified children and patients as the primary victims of this prolonged atrocity. More than 40,000 infants under one year old suffer from severe malnutrition due to this policy and face imminent gradual death.
The Gaza government emphasized that many children and patients succumb daily to extreme hunger and malnutrition. It noted documented evidence exists showing the tragic consequences faced by these victims.
