Gaza Death Toll Reaches 61,944

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in ⁤Gaza‍ issued a statement detailing the latest figures on casualties from Israeli military assaults on the Gaza Strip as‍ October 7, 2023, according to webangah news Agency.

According ⁣to the ministry, 61,944 people have been killed as a result of these attacks to date.

The⁤ ministry also⁢ reported that the total ⁤number of injured Palestinians in Gaza ⁣has ‍reached 155,886 as the start⁣ of the⁤ conflict.

In the past 24 ⁤hours alone, ⁤bodies ‌of 47 deceased individuals were transferred⁣ to hospitals. During this period, ⁣226 new injuries were recorded.

Since March 18, 2025, amid a new wave of attacks on Gaza,‌ an additional 10,400 people have been killed and 43,845 wounded.

Thousands more remain missing or⁣ trapped under rubble across Gaza.

Around aid distribution centers in the last ‌day⁢ alone, there were reports of 14 deaths and 132 injuries. The total number killed at these centers now⁤ stands at 1,938,with 14,420 injured.

In addition, ​seven deaths due to hunger and malnutrition were recorded over the past day.This‍ brings fatalities​ related ⁤to famine and starvation in Gaza to 258, including 110 children.
