Trump Thrilled by Multiple European Leaders Meeting at White House
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump responded on his social media platform, Truth Social, to today’s meeting with European leaders at the White House.
In his message, trump wrote: “A big day tomorrow at the White House. We have never had so many European leaders together at one time. It is a great honor for me to host them!!!”
after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, Trump held telephone calls with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and then European leaders from the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Finland, and France.He also spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Ursula von der Leyen.
Volodymyr Zelensky recently announced his arrival in Washington for a meeting with Trump and called for lasting peace.
French President emmanuel Macron; UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer; German Chancellor Friedrich Merz; Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni; and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission-who confirmed joining this multilateral summit yesterday-will all participate in the meeting with Trump.
