Gaza Death Toll Reaches 62,744
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shehab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released a statement updating casualty figures from israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip as October 7, 2023.
The ministry confirmed that as a result of these attacks, 62,744 people have been killed up to now.
It also reported that the total number of wounded during this period has reached 158,259.
Within the past 24 hours alone, bodies of 58 victims where transferred to hospitals, and 308 people were injured.
Since March 18, 2025, amid renewed assaults on Gaza, casualties include an additional 10,900 deaths and 46,218 injuries.

The ministry further stated that during the last day at aid distribution centers, there were 28 deaths and 184 injuries. This raises fatalities at these locations to a total of 2,123 with injuries reaching 15,615 Palestinians.
Nutritional deficits continue to claim lives: in the past day alone there were eleven deaths caused by hunger and malnutrition. So far famine-related fatalities have hit three hundred-including one hundred seventeen children.
