Hebrew Site: “World Superpower” Forced to Negotiate with Yemen
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, reported that the Hebrew-language site Walla admitted that Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has drawn Israel into a war of attrition. The Yemeni side has set conditions for ending this conflict: provided that attacks on Gaza continue, missile launches and drone strikes from Yemen will also persist.
The report adds that the Yemenis control both the intensity and scope of their attacks. After every Israeli strike against Yemen, Tel Aviv hopes to shift the balance of power against Yemeni forces. Though, it becomes clear that nothing changes.
The report emphasizes that following increased Yemeni assaults, the Israeli army requested American intervention. Washington soon realized that the damage caused by these attacks on Yemen was greater than expected.
It continues to explain that so-called “the world’s superpower” was forced to negotiate with Yemen and eventually agreed to a ceasefire. The United States effectively left tel Aviv alone in its confrontation with Yemen. None of Israel’s operations against Yemen have succeeded in weakening its military strength or reducing attack intensity on occupied territories.
