Hezbollah Lebanon Demands Immediate Summoning of US Ambassador
Following insults from the US envoy to Lebanese journalists, Hezbollah issued a statement demanding the summons of Washington’s ambassador in Beirut.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik,Lebanon’s Hezbollah condemned an insult by the US delegation,especially Tom Barrack,against Lebanese journalists at the country’s presidential palace.
The statement read: “The logic of American bullying and superiority over Lebanese journalists is not surprising.The authorities must immediately summon the US ambassador and reprimand him.”
Tom Barrack,the US special envoy for Lebanon,insulted journalists at Baabda Palace by stating: “As soon as things become chaotic and behaviors turn animalistic,we will leave this place.”
this comes while Lebanon’s presidential office described his remarks as unintentional.
