Israeli Regime Claims to Retrieve Bodies of Two Prisoners from Gaza

The Israeli military claimed it has recovered the bodies⁤ of two captives ‍from the Gaza Strip, ⁣identifying one of them while efforts continue to establish the identity of the ⁣second.

The ‌English⁤ section of webangah news ⁤Agency reported, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, that Israel’s Channel 12 TV claimed the Israeli army ⁤recovered the body of one captive ⁤named Ilan Weiss from Gaza.

Hebrew sources‌ stated that during an ⁢operation yesterday, the occupying forces ⁤discovered Weiss’s body. He was killed on ‌October 7 and his remains were transferred to Gaza.

The ‍Israeli military also asserted that it ⁤retrieved a second captive’s body from Gaza and has launched investigations to verify this individual’s identity.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin ‌Netanyahu recently declared that the battle to free all captives continues, promising not to‌ rest untill every hostage is returned alive or ⁢deceased.

These remarks come amid widespread criticism within Israel and among prisoners’ families, who hold Netanyahu responsible for prolonging ‌the Gaza war for political aims at their children’s expense.

Israeli sources claim there are currently 49 Israeli captives in Gaza,‍ approximately 20 of whom remain alive.
