Modi Arrives in China; Scheduled Meetings with Xi Jinping and Putin
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Sputnik, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in China on Saturday to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
Narendra Modi will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit in Tianjin.
Earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Vladimir Putin will meet with his iranian counterpart on Monday, September 1, during the SCO leaders’ summit.
Ushakov outlined Putin’s agenda at the SCO meeting,emphasizing that Iran is a longstanding and trusted partner of Russia. The two leaders are expected to discuss various issues, including developments related to Iran’s nuclear program.
