Danish Foreign Minister Proposes Sanctions on Israeli Ministers
The Danish Foreign Minister, whose country currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union, has proposed imposing sanctions on Israeli cabinet ministers.
The Danish Foreign Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, speaking ahead of the EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Copenhagen, stated that Denmark supports suspending trade agreements with Israel to end the war in Gaza, according to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera.
Rasmussen added that IsraelS actions in Gaza go beyond self-defense. To end the war and humanitarian crisis there, pressure must be applied to the Israeli occupiers. He warned that Israel is now destroying the so-called two-state solution.
