Ansar Allah Leader Begins Speech Marking the Martyrdom of Al-Rahwi
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Almasirah via Mehr News Agency, Abd al-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, began his speech commemorating the martyrdom of Ahmad Ghaleb al-Rahwi, Prime Minister of the Change and Reconstruction government, along with several cabinet ministers who were killed in strikes by the Israeli regime.

Yesterday, Yemen’s Presidency issued a statement announcing the martyrdom of Ahmad Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several accompanying ministers in last Thursday’s attack by Israel on Sanaa.
The Saturday statement from Yemen’s Presidency said: “Today, amid an intense battle with the Israeli enemy, we mourn collectively including national leaders who represent all segments of Yemeni society. In Thursday’s (August 28) attack by Israel on Sanaa, prime Minister Ahmad Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several Yemeni ministers were martyred. Several others were wounded; some remain in critical condition.”
The statement continued: “the criminal Israeli enemy targeted them during a meeting convened by the government to review its activities and performance over the past year. We assure our grate nation that God willing, the government will fulfill its role in protecting its citizens. State institutions will continue providing services to our resilient, patient Yemeni people unwaveringly regardless of any catastrophe.The blood of these great martyrs will inspire us to persevere on this path.”
Further emphasizing solidarity, it read: “We reaffirm to our great nation-our oppressed palestinian brothers-the entire people of our country and all free peoples worldwide that we will maintain our firm stance supporting and defending Gaza’s people while strengthening our armed forces’ capabilities to confront every challenge and threat. This position reflects that of our resolute Yemeni people present with resolve across all arenas.”
The statement concluded: “We belong to God and return unto Him. God is sufficient for us; He is the best disposer of affairs.We pray for abundant mercy for our martyrs, healing for the wounded, freedom for prisoners-and dignity and victory for our beloved nation and all those who seek freedom.”
