Israeli Regime Resumes Military Operations in the West Bank
The English section of webangah News Agency reports, citing Mehr News Agency via Al Jazeera, that Israeli occupation forces began a wide-scale raid and arrest campaign early this morning in several West Bank provinces. This follows recent intensification of assaults and violations by extremist settlers against palestinians.
Local Palestinian sources said Israeli troops stormed the cities of Nablus and Qalqilya in northern West Bank, conducting searches and making arrests among residents.
The sources added that Israeli forces also raided Balata refugee camp and Kafr Qalil village east of Nablus; Yamon settlement west of Jenin; Tamoun settlement south of Tubas; the settlements of Bila’a and Anabta in Tulkarm area; and Yatta city south of Hebron.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that five members from one family were wounded by gunfire from occupation forces during their raid on Tamoun settlement south of Tubas.
Meanwhile, Wadi Sa’ir northeast of Hebron witnessed settler attacks on Palestinians. Settlers reportedly set palestinian lands on fire and attacked homes in the area.
Settlers also assaulted Palestinian farmers near Wardan village on the outskirts of Beit Ummar settlement north of Hebron city.
Palestinian eyewitnesses stated that an Israeli settler ran over a Palestinian girl on a road leading to Sama’ settlement south of Hebron in the West Bank.
Palestinian media released videos showing gatherings of young Palestinians confronting extremist settler attacks in the Atl area within Sinjel town north of Ramallah.
As genocide warfare continues in Gaza, both the Israeli military and settlers have intensified their assaults throughout the West Bank-including East Jerusalem-resulting so far in at least 1,016 Palestinians killed, about 7,000 injured, along with over 18,500 detentions across these occupied territories.
