Putin: Russia Ranks Among Top Five Countries in Aircraft Engine and Missile Production
Russian President states that despite sanctions, the country ranks among the top five globally in aircraft and missile engine development and production.
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Moscow is among the world’s top five countries in developing and manufacturing aircraft and missile engines.
Speaking at a meeting in the Samara region focused on the engine manufacturing industry, he said, “I would like to emphasize that Russia, both during the Soviet era and today, ranks among the five leading countries worldwide in developing and producing aircraft and missile engines.”
Putin also highlighted that the process of replacing imported engines in Ansat helicopters and Superjet airplanes has been completed.
