Pro-Palestinian Activists Attack Israeli Arms Manufacturer’s Office in Germany
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Turkey’s anadolu agency, hebrew media reported that on Monday evening, a group of activists allied with the Palestinian cause stormed the building of the Israeli arms company Elbit Systems in Ulm, Germany. They caused critically important damage to equipment, computers, and offices within the company.
The Israeli Public broadcasting Corporation stated that members of the institution palestine Action carried out this attack. Founded in 2020, Palestine Action intensified its activities particularly after Israel’s campaign in Gaza began on October 7, 2023.
The newspaper Haaretz reported that activists filmed their actions while breaking windows, throwing smoke bombs and paint bags inside the building. They also spray-painted slogans such as “child killers” on the walls.
The German police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the building, and arrested five individuals on an upper floor without resistance.
Police confirmed no one was injured during the incident; though, initial damage estimates reach several hundred thousand euros.
The examination is ongoing under Germany’s Federal Criminal police Office affiliated with the Interior Ministry-the agency responsible for major crime cases. Police have also stationed forces at another Elbit Systems facility in ulm as a precautionary measure.
Palestine Action declared that Elbit Systems produces deadly drones used by Israel to kill Palestinians in gaza. The group has repeatedly demanded closure not only of this office but all Israeli arms factories across Germany.
