Qatar Prime Minister: US Informed Us 10 Minutes After Israeli Attack
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News agency and Al Jazeera, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, strongly condemned the israeli regime’s attack on Doha during a press briefing. He called it a treacherous assault by Israeli occupation forces and described it as an act of state terrorism.
He added, ”We will not compromise on our territorial security and reserve the right to respond. Our country has formed a legal team to initiate proceedings regarding this rebellion we consider an unprovoked attack.”
Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indirectly, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman said: “Netanyahu claims he will rebuild the Middle east-dose he also intend to reshape Gulf Cooperation Council countries? what Netanyahu is doing amounts to state terrorism aimed at destabilizing the region.”
The Qatari foreign minister continued: “We have reached a critical moment that demands a unified response against Netanyahu’s brutality and savagery. we are a mediating nation, so this attack represents nothing but betrayal.”
The Prime Minister further explained that negotiations had been ongoing in recent days, with Qatar reviewing the latest draft at America’s request. Thus, violating national sovereignty without any regard is an act of disregard that cannot be ignored.
Regarding U.S. knowledge of the incident,Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman stated that American officials informed Qatar ten minutes after the attack occurred.
The Israeli strike was described as a treacherous operation of which they became aware only upon its execution. There was no coordination between Washington and Tel Aviv concerning the assault on Doha.
The foreign minister emphasized that Qatar will continue its mediating role without hesitation and use every resource available to halt war in Gaza. This commitment stems from Qatar’s diplomacy rooted in maintaining regional stability.
