Netanyahu Issues Indirect Threat Against Turkey
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Palestine’s Sama News Agency, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, demanded that Qatar either expel Hamas leaders-whom he labeled “terrorists”-from its territory or prosecute them within the country.
In a video released by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office,he stated: “To Qatar and all countries harboring terrorists: either expel them or hand them over to justice. Or else, we will take action ourselves.”
Netanyahu’s threats come as Turkey and Qatar host several Hamas leaders. Many analysts interpret his remarks as an implicit warning directed at Turkey.
The statements followed Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday targeting residences of several Hamas leaders in Doha.
