Hamas Senior Official: The World Has Recognized the True Nature of the Party Blocking the Ceasefire
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting mehr News Agency, Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas official, told Al Jazeera that following Israel’s aggression against Qatar, the world now understands which party is blocking and undermining efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
He stated that attempts to assassinate members of Hamas’s delegation in Doha represent a direct attack on former President Donald Trump’s plan. Hamdan added they are awaiting the outcome of efforts by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister during their visit to the United States.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces shelled the location where Hamas leaders were meeting in Doha to discuss Donald Trump’s proposal aimed at advancing negotiations.
Even though none of Hamas’s leaders were harmed in this strike, several Hamas members and civilians – including a Qatari national - were killed.
