Israeli Prisoners’ Families: Netanyahu Is the Sole Obstacle to Our Children’s Return
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Anatolia News Agency reported from Hebrew media sources that a statement from the “Families of Captives Institution” claimed Netanyahu has used the pretext that Hamas leaders in Qatar block any agreement as a new excuse to avoid returning captives.
The families emphasized: it is clear that Netanyahu alone obstructs the release of 48 Israeli captives and an end to the war.
Tel Aviv estimates that 20 of these captives are still alive, while over 10,800 Palestinian prisoners face torture, starvation, and denial of medical care inside Zionist prisons-many having lost their lives under these conditions.
The Israeli families also recalled former U.S.President Donald TrumpS earlier statement asserting: whenever a deal nears for prisoner releases, Netanyahu creates obstacles.
Alongside political opponents within Israel, these families believe Netanyahu prolongs the Gaza conflict for his political interests by blocking ceasefire efforts. He seeks to maintain his hold on power under pressure from his far-right cabinet faction.
