Qatar: Israel’s Brutal Attack on Doha Was Terrorism and a Violation of International Law

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign ⁢Minister condemned Israel’s brutal attack on Doha as terrorism and a violation of international law.

According to the English section⁢ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency,‌ which in ‌turn referenced Al Jazeera, Qatar’s ⁢Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed ⁢bin abdulrahman Al Thani, stated on Sunday that Israel’s ongoing violations of international law were evident in its savage attack on Doha. He described the Israeli assault as nothing short of terrorism.

The Qatari Prime Minister added that Israel’s ‍reckless and treacherous aggression occurred while Qatar was‌ hosting negotiations on Gaza. He said what encourages Israel to continue its approach is ⁢the international community’s failure to hold ‌it accountable. The Israeli aggression would only lead to the collapse of the negotiation process.

He further noted that the attack on Qatar’s sovereignty constitutes a blatant⁢ breach of international ‌conventions as‌ well as diplomatic and ethical norms.”We must not remain silent or indifferent in the face of this brutal aggression,” he said. “It is time for the international community⁣ to end its double standards.”

Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani went on ‍to stress ⁤that peace and security in the region will remain elusive unless the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate ‌rights. He affirmed that Israel’s actions would not deter Qatar from continuing efforts with Egypt and ⁢the United States⁤ to halt the war in Gaza. “We appreciate the Security Council’s international consensus condemning Israel and supporting‌ Qatar,” ⁤he concluded.
