Ryabkov: No Reason to Remove the U.S. from the List of Non-Friendly Countries
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Sergey Ryabkov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, stated Tuesday that the West lacks a proper understanding of the joint military exercises conducted by Russia and Belarus.
Ryabkov said that obstacles remain in resolving tensions between Russia and the United States; however, he noted that Washington has shown willingness to continue dialog with Moscow. He added that former President Trump’s calls for europe to stop buying Russian oil are nothing new and do not warrant unnecessary speculation.
Further commenting, Ryabkov said there is currently no reason to discuss removing the United States from Russia’s list of unfriendly countries. He emphasized that relations between Russia and the US are still at an early stage.
